e-match to visco - a better "connection"?

i noticed some while ago that mjg are selling an e-match glued into a section of plastic tubing, into which the visco is inserted.

this seems an easy diy job using a bit of 3mm id pvc tubing, glueing the e-match in with a bit of silicone and voila, .............possibly a better way to ignite visco on cakes ?

if the visco is less than 3mm, use 2 pieces shoved in the tubing.
