I’ve been using 3 separate DB04r units, as a 12 cue system, purchased from wireless fireworks for the past two years. This year I’ve seen a few posts and even a video of a power surge igniting all cues when the system is switched on.
Although each time I’ve used it I’ve never had any problem with this, the thought of it happening to me is terrifying, both from a safety aspect and the disappointment of seeing a lot of pyro all fire at once.
Have I been lucky so far? And am I getting closer...
